Our dog trainers start your puppy on the right trail and can lead them to their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Our training is fun and strengthens the bond between you and your four legged best friend.

Teaching your dog to walk nicely
Spring time! When everybody wants be outside more, and take our dogs everywhere. But how many of us have practiced our loose leash walking habits with our furry buddies? Here’s some easy tips. 1. When the dog starts to pull, STOP walking. We like to call that “Be a tree.” 2. If you can count to 50 and the dog is still pulling, start slowly going in the other direction. We call that “Wacky walking.” Yep, that’s the way to do it. The biggest challenge with this exercise is p-a-t-i-e-n-c-e. Sometimes we can be in a hurry to get the dog walking like a pro. Whether it’s a puppy or a rescue, be prepared to go slowly. You may not get much farther than your driveway for awhile. You can also use the “superdogwalker” utility belt, full of cheese, hot dogs, squeaky toys, tennis balls and chuck-it sticks. Make yourself fun and interesting to walk with, and your dog will pay more attention to you. For a lot of dogs a couple of walks a day is their entire social life. Their world is full of amazing smells. That’s also why they like to stop to check their “P’mail”
